The under 16’s were narrowly defeated in the Grand Final and the club is really proud of the sportsmanship they showed in defeat when they joined in a prayer of thanks with St Mary’s team [...]]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The Glenmore Park Brumbies under 6 team won the James Kilgour Knockout Shield and the Brent kite Mini Carnival in Canberra.<br />
The under 16’s were narrowly defeated in the Grand Final and the club is really proud of the sportsmanship they showed in defeat when they joined in a prayer of thanks with St Mary’s team at the end of the game.<br />
Congratulations to Kevin Chester, the coach for the under 6 team with the Brumbies Junior Rugby League club for winning the ‘Coach of the Year’ award.<br />
Thanks to all the coaches, managers, trainers and of course all the players.  Registration for 2010 in February. </p>

All games are played locally at the Surveyors Creek Softball Complex, Ballybunnion Terrace in Glenmore Park &#8211; no travelling all over the city.

The Glenmore Phantoms Softball Club is a non profit organisation and has provided the opportunity for players of all ages to play softball within the Penrith City Softball Association.<br />
All games are played locally at the Surveyors Creek Softball Complex, Ballybunnion Terrace in Glenmore Park &#8211; no travelling all over the city.<br />
All divisional are played at the same time slot every week. Games are on Saturdays.<br />
We cater for both female and male players and for ages 5 (born 2004) and senior players. The association has a player well into their sixties.<br />
Senior divisions cater for both competitive players and those players looking at a social team sport with the emphasis on fun.<br />
Softball is played during the summer period from September through until March with an extensive six week break during the Christmas period.<br />
