The Glenmore Park Action Group is set to be revitalised with its next meeting on Thursday 13 May.
Penrith Councillor Prue Guillaume said she would support the group and was encouraging all local residents to get involved.
“As a Councillor and local resident of Glenmore Park, I’m putting the call out to anyone who has any local issues or wants get involved in the community to come along,” Clr Guillaume said. “You may be concerned about graffiti, or have some ideas for some community events.”
Glenmore Park Action Group has had a history of influencing great developments in the local area, including lobbying the State Government to start work on the Northern Road and increasing Penrith Council’s commitment to graffiti removal.
The meeting on 13 May is expected to elect a new Executive Committee and consider a possible change of name.
