After spending five years fronting the country rock band, 5 Hour Drive, Fiona took a break during 2009 to write and record her first solo country album. The 12 tracks are all original with some co-writing by Barbara Baillie and the album’s producer, Roger Corbett. Her songs have been described as ‘highly contemporary, rocky and witty, but always country.’
Fiona has had the privilege of working with some of Australia’s leading country musicians, such as Mick Albeck, Glen Hannah, Ian Lees, Bill Risby and Michel Rose to name a few. Her first single, Dirt, was released in February this year and the cracking music video has just entered the Top 50 chart on the Country Music Channel!
