Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Educatio
n Julia Gillard and Federal Member for Lindsay, David Bradbury, met with local school principals at Glenmore Park Public School recently to discuss the roll-out of the Building the Education Revolution program in the local community.
Glenmore Park Public School is receiving $3 million for new classroom facilities.
Federal Member for Lindsay, David Bradbury said ”This is the largest school modernisation in Australia’s history, and is helping to stimulate the economy by investing in much-needed infrastructure in our primary and secondary schools and supporting local jobs”.
“I would like to thank Glenmore Park Public School for hosting the forum and to all the school principals who came along on the day, and I look forward to continuing to work with all of our local schools as the stimulus package funding is progressively rolled out.”
